Description
My greets to you, reading these words.
For about a year I've been intensively working on and supporting my Winamp 2X skinning tutorial. The last complete version was 1_5_0 and it's available for free download from my deviantart page or [link] This old version has enough information for a complete newbie to start creating professional quality skins (if he has talents for that), explaining all the details of Winamp skinning.
Now I'm leaving this work. Version 1_5_5 was never released, but here comes 1_6_0, the last version of this tut. 1_7_0 will never be released. At least by me, so if you have will to continue my work, feel free to offer your help.
It's not a standalone manual, it's just a "patch" or "update" to my previous work.
Nevertheless this version contain somewhat like a little bonus: several interviews with famous winamp kinners, published in Hugi#26 (I'm it's skinning section editorial).
Please, don't blame me for submitting PDF instead of HTML (even going against submission rules this way). I like this format. That's all. Anyone interested can convert it to HTML, but not me. Besides, I don't like the idea of reading it online: it's not a detective book.
As always, any comments/wishes are welcome.
Thanks to Gileva for contributing previous issues and her help on this work.
P.S.: RIP at the end of it has nothing to do with ripping
